It's so amazing how fast the internet is growing. It seems like a real gigantic explosion of data, the greatest information system invented. Fast, fast, fast - you think it's slow but it's fast.
Code is working hard while most of us just simply use it and we mostly take all the bytes and commands and swapping of memory for granted.
YouTube alone has at least 100,000,000 videos! Metacafe has oodles of them too. Yahoo! Answers has over 5,000,000 questions and at least 1/4th of them are rather childish. Wikipedia has over 2,700,000 English articles, plus dozens of millions of other articles in other languages. Flickr has over 10,000,000 pictures, but that's nothing compared to Facebook...
News every day flooding our inboxes, and funny emails and online games dissecting our time like little knives. Torrential torrents and satellite currents. Where is the time going! It's starting to go more and more into the digital and virtual world we call the web. Ah, a web reminds one of a spiderweb, and some content is indeed addictive and can catch you!
The world wide web has reached almost every corner of the globe. If you can afford it you can use the web in a tree in a jungle of Madagascar, and guess what? I want to add that to my bucket list...
The internet is a maze and one can easily get buried under the amount of information constantly flowing in from many sources. It is essential that one is aware of the merits and pitfalls hanging out there and get benefited by judiciously using the treasure called Internet!
