People. Please don't sign up for auto-payments with your credit card... I did and it wasted at least four hours calling up to rectify and figure it out... they lied to me. they said they would swipe out my balance if it was less than the auto-pay amount and instead they took out all 495 bucks, causing me to get an NFS OD fine of 35 bucks on my bank accnt cuz it went negative. NFS is apparently Non Sufficient Funds- od is overdraft....
I'm gonna try to minimize use of the plastic moolah
arggh i wanted convenience and got a big headache. I want to go back to cash for now - then maybe bartering and fish sticks and fire stones and trees..

The credit card companies are not in the business of doing you any favors.
ReplyDeleteI heard that leaving 75% of the credit limit untouched is a good way to both keep your interest rate down and you credit rating up.
Yes, I should have known that it sounded too good to be true..
